"Trophy" Red Drum Charters

Home

We mean "Trophy" Red Drum, North Carolina holds some of the worlds largest Redfish, holding 10 of the 16 world records.  In 2008 our clients had a 90% success rate on landing a trophy class red which is 40 inches or greater in length

Prime time!  Our quest for trophy fish starts in July and runs through the 2nd or 3rd week in October.  Traditionaly most anglers associate Trophy Reds with a night bite, but we target them in the day with equal results, this gives the angler the most of the experience.

Location-     Neuse River, Pamlico Sound and Pamlico River.  Depending on the wind and best concentrtion of fish we travel to produce the best results for our clients.  Fishibx.com can also assist you in booking your stay and provide transportation to and from the ramp.

Vessel-     I run several different boats, depending on the specifics of the charter and the area chosen to fish.  Currently the largest boat is a 24' Welcraft with hard top and cabin.  I also run a 21' open Skimmer which works great when the fish get in the upper reaches of the rivers.

Rate-     $200.00 per person, this includes all tackle, bait, gear etc., all you need to bring is sunscreen and a camera!

Licenses-  Depending on the area I'm fishing either a coastal license (CRFL) or inland fishing license may be required.  Emial or call to make certain you choose the correct license.  Mitch@fishibx.com or 252-495-1803.

Cancelations, on booked dates (email confirmed, phone confirmed,or deposits) 3 weeks out or more- no charge, two weeks out 30%, one week or less 50%.

I am a licensed Captain, have a current guide license, and all boats have for hire permits.  Fishing is our business and I want to put you on your next catch, call 252-495-1803 for your next guided adventure.

Multiple groups, large groups, or coorporate retreats, we can handle it.  fishibx.com has several captains that know the fishery well.  Call today or email to book the 2009 prime dates.
